Topic: Matthew Vines, LGBTQ advocate on being Gay and Christian
COHS Fellowship Hall
Being Gay and Christian? Matthew Vines, LGBTQ advocate, author and Director of The Reformation Project, shares his experience of coming out as Gay in an interview with his father. In the 52 minute interview, father and son share the difficult conversations they had and heart-rending feelings that they experienced as they attempted to reconcile Matthew being both Gay and Christian. In the interview, Matthew challenges traditional conservative doctrine and the Bible passages used by conservatives to condemn LGBTQ people.
Please join us as we listen to Matthew and his father share their poignant experience.
