Godly Play .... for children of all ages
Sundays
10:15 AM service
Our Godly Play Education Program for all children, now takes place on Sundays during the worship service. Children begin our 10:15 AM worship service with their families. We then gather the children during the Gospel Alleluia and lead them to the Godly Play room just outside the sanctuary, after the Gospel. Children return to worship with their families at the Peace.
For now, there is no 9:00 AM Education hour for children. Adult forums continue at 9:00 AM for adults and youth. We hope this new schedule for families with children will be more user friendly on Sunday mornings.

New Forum Series begins

College Outreach Care Packages
Final Sunday for Collections is October 11
Greetings Fellow Parishioners,
The temperatures are getting cooler, and the trees are changing colors. Our college students are back at school and missing home. We understand that college life is a time to question and learn, meet new challenges, and assess their faith. To help our college students stay connected and to let them know that they are in our thoughts and prayers, we send them care packages of snacks and goodies in mid-October. Just in time for mid-terms. Please help us to collect goodies and treasures for the care packages. We will be collecting until October 11. The collection bin is in the Narthex.
It means so much to the students to know that they are a valuable part in the community at COHS.
Here is a list of items that the students enjoy:
Homemade cookies or brownies – we will keep them frozen until we pack them for shipping.
Microwave popcorn
Snack packages of cookies, chips, pretzels, etc
Gum
Granola bars
Energy bars
You can also donate toward the cost of mailing the care packages.
Dried fruit and trail mix
Nuts
Candy
Jerky
Instant meals - Oatmeal, Raman noodles, dried soup mix, mac & cheese
Student Registration
Education and Activities for Families at Holy Spirit:
Please use the button below to register your child for any and all education and activities at Holy Spirit. Things like kid's choir, Godly Play, Girls' Friendly, or a fun youth activity/event at church are reasons to register.
COHS at Souderton Third Fridays
Great thanks to Kate Strite for leading the way for Holy Spirit to have a presence at Souderton's Third Fridays Market where Holy Spirit members joined Kate throughout the evening.

Concerts at COHS
Concert - Riverview Early Music

Riverview Early Music presents a concert program of vocal and instrumental music from the American Colonial period. Riverview will give audiences an opportunity to experience the sounds and stories that shaped everyday life in Colonial America.

Creating Children’s Worship Bags continues!
New Seasonal items are being added to worship bags for the Season of Creation!
We are in the process of replacing our 'busy bags' with personalized 'Worship bags' for all our children. Each child will be assisted to create their own worship bag and each Sunday you bring your children they will now have their very own bag, with their name, that only they use each week. The bags live at church and over time will have new items added as appropriate to particular seasons and Sundays.
If your children have not yet had a chance to put together their very own bag, you can do so during coffee hour through the summer.. Special Guest bags are available until your children create their own. Angela Bartholomew will keep an eye out for children who haven't yet created bags and assist you in making them.
